Re: ISA Elections 2007-2008

Dear ISA friends,

I hope you guys are enjoying the summer!! As president of the India Student Association, I would like to request your participation in the 2007-2008 ISA elections to be held on Sunday 29th July, 2007 in Souris hall lounge at 4:00 PM. Please mark your calendar for this important event. The executives selected in this election will represent the interests of more than 150 students of Indian origin residing in Saskatoon, Canada. The Executive members of the ISA comprising the Executive Committee shall consist of the following:
President
Vice-President
General Secretary
Treasurer
Social Secretary
Member-at-Large
Web-Master

The nominations for the above positions can be forwarded to srinivas.seekallu@usask.ca till midnight of Friday, 20th July 2007. Please note that the nominations will not be accepted after the dead line. All current Indian students and Post-Docs of U of S are only eligible to vote in person. We hope that you will take this opportunity to participate in this important election by carefully reviewing the credentials of the candidates and by casting your vote. As a member, you are an essential part of the ISA community, and it is important to us that your interests are well represented.

The success of an Association depends on your support and participation, so let us all help each other repeat the achievements of past years and make way to new ones and hope to have the commitment and involvement of all in the upcoming social events and activities.
