I hope everyone had a very successful summer. We are happy to announce the dates for PARICHAY-2008. This year Parichay will be held on 27th September at St Joseph's High School.
Parichay makes a platform for introducing the new students coming from India to our community. I hope everyone is looking forward to welcome them to our family with a warm heart.

62nd Independence Day of India

Hello everyone,
This email is an invitation to come together and celebrate India's 62nd Independence Day.India Students Association welcomes everyone to join us At Grosvenor Park at 5.15 pm On 17th August 2008, Sunday to celebrate the feeling of being FREE.
The event will include Flag Hoisting, A short speech by the Chief guest, Cultural program and Refreshments.

ISA Summer Picnic

Dear all ISA folks,

We are pleased to inform you that ISA summer Picnic is arranged at Pike Lake on Saturday 5th July 2008.

Please book your spot before 3rd July 2008. either email or call to Ashok Jadhav, vetashpath2003@yahoo.co.uk or Ph. 477-2714.

The cost of trip per adult is $ 8.00 and Kids between 5 to 15 yrs. $ 5.00.

Lunch will be free -Barbeque and snacks.

Also lot of fun activities and games will be there during the picnic.

ISA Elections to Select Executive Committee for the Year 2008-2009

Dear All ISA folks,

Greetings!

The present ISA committee (2007-2008) will be successfully completing it's one year term soon. Your support during last one year is greatly admired. On behalf of all executive members I would like to thanks each and every member of ISA for there support through out the period. Also we are greatful to those members who involved in the promotion of activities of India student's association to shine the association in the university as well as in the community.

Regarding, ISA summer trip-2008, we are working on the plan and once we decided the destination we will inform you as soon as possible (probably planning in the month of June 2008).

The following positions are present for ISA committee (2008-2009),

Please send your nominations by Wednesday, 21st May 2008. Depending on multiple candidature for the position the election will be held, otherwise the committee will be formed unanimously.

The final declaration of new committee will be declared on the ISA summer trip 2008.

International Week-2008 Food fair

Hello everyone,

Hope everyone is busy and doing well in their winter session.

This is to inform everyone, that our association is setting up a food stall on 31st of Jan (thursday) following International week-2008. Our stall will be in the global commons in lower Place Riel from 11.30am - 1.30 pm.

We will be serving delicious Indian food.

This year on our menu we have Vegetable Biryani, Chickpea masala and samosas.

We request everyone in the association to inform their friends and lab-mates about our stall, as it is one of the biggest fund raising event for India Student Association (ISA).

We are looking forward to see you all on our stall.

Please make a note of the place & time and dont miss a chance to have delicious lunch together on thursday.
